and forehead. Series of die scratches in
different direction below the chin. NW
die scratch from the back of the collar.
Very light die crack centered in the head positioned below the W of WE. Reverse: Stage
A: First reverse. Die gouge under E in STATES. Die pitting left of upper second A in
AMERICA. Small die chip in upper T in
CENT. Die chips in upper bay 1. WNW/ESE die scratches though the letters
URIBU of PLURIBUS and NUM of UNUM. Very
weak designer’s initials. Stage B: Second reverse. N/S die scratches between the left side roof
and the D of UNITED. NW die scratch from
the left upper area of the N in ONE. Die
scratch ESE from the lower left leg of the R in AMERICA. Die scratch north from the right cornice to
the lower center of the M in AMERICA.
