1982-D 1¢ Damaged Mint Mark Punch

Description: Apparent doubling on the inner mint mark and a slightly split upper serif to the south is the result of a damaged mint mark punch. It is not a RPM.

Description:  D/D North

Die Markers:  Obverse: Large Date Copper.  Die scratches SW from the RTY of LIBERTY.  Reverse:  N/S die scratches inside and below the C of CENT.

1982-D 1¢ WRPM-002

Description: D/D Tilted (Rotated)

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Large Date Copper.  ENE/WSW die scratch connecting the bottom of the 9 and 8 in the date.  NW/SE die scratch inside the upper left of the W in WE.  Die scratch SE from the upper left inside of the U in TRUST to the lower extremity of the S in TRUST.  Reverse:  Die gouge about one-fourth of the way up on the lower right side of the M in AMERICA.  Die gouge in the field below the left leg of the last A in AMERICA.  Light N/S die cracks at the top of columns ten, eleven and twelve.

Description: D/D West

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Large Date Copper.  A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the top of the E in WE.  Parallel die scratches run ENE from the bowtie.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs NNE from the bottom of the 3rd column.
