1926 1¢ WDDO-001

Description:  A strong extra eyelid shows SE of the main eyelid.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Three short die gouges show SE of the D in GOD.  A die gouge extends NNW above the upper right B in LIBERTY.  Two die scratches extend from WSW to ENE in the field below and between the T and R of TRUST.  A die scratch runs NE from the top of the hair south of the left side of the first T in TRUST.  A die scratch runs NNW to SSE through the inside of Lincoln’s ear.   Reverse:  Light die scratches run NW to SE between the upper N and T of CENT.  Several die scratches run SSW from the lower C in CENT.

Description:  Two extra eyelids show SE of the main eyelid.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die scratch near the rim below the 6 of the date shows along with a small die dent inside the 6.  Reverse:  None detected on this specimen.
