2020 1¢ WDDO-001

Description:  Moderate extra thickness shows on LIBERTY.  The upper right of the Y in LIBERTY is considerably thicker than the upper left of the Y.  Notching shows on the lower left corners of the ERTY in LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Small die gouge under right side of E in LIBERTY.  Small die gouges just left of lower second 2 and under right side of the lower second 2 in the date.  Reverse:   None noted.

2020 1¢ WDDO-002

Description:  Moderate extra thickness shows on the date and slight extra thickness shows on LIBERTY.  The upper left of the Y in LIBERTY is slightly thicker than the upper right of the Y.  Light notching shows on the lower right corners of the ERTY in LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A:  A die gouge can be found above E in LIBERTY.  A die gouge can be found right of upper N in IN.  Several small die gouges (dots) can be found below Lincoln's ear.  Obverse Stage B:  Die gouge above E slightly weaker.  Die gouge right of upper N and die gouges under the ear weaker.  New die gouge well above T in LIBERTY.  Several small grouped die gouges (dots) are present well above LI in LIBERTY.  Two small die chips are present on the lower left first 2 in the date.  Reverse Stage A:   Die chips on lower right C and E in CENT.  Die gouge under left side of E in ONE.  Light die crack under LURI in PLURIBUS.  Reverse Stage B:  All stage A markers still visible.  A die gouge (dot) can be found to the left of the J in JFM.  Die gouges (dots) inside lower left R and above left side of I in PLURIBUS.

2020 1¢ WDDO-003

Description:  Moderate extra thickness shows on LIBERTY.  The upper left of the Y in LIBERTY is slightly thicker than the upper right of the Y.  Light notching shows on the lower right corners of the ERTY in LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Several die scratches run NE from the lips and the chin.  Die gouges well south of IB and well north of BE in LIBERTY.  Reverse:   Several small die gouges (dots) are present just right of the shield a bit north of the top of M in UNUM.  Die gouge on top of T in CENT.  Die gouge under E in STATES.

Description:  Moderate extra thickness shows on LIBERTY.  The upper left of the Y in LIBERTY is slightly thicker than the upper right of the Y.  Light notching shows on the lower right corners of the ERTY in LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A:  A small die gouge can be found above the left side of the R in TRUST.  A small die gouge can be found below the R in LIBERTY and below the right side of Y in LIBERTY.  Reverse Stage B:  Die gouge above R in TRUST no longer visible.  Die gouges under LIBERTY still visible.  Two die chips on lower T in LIBERTY.  Small die gouge inside upper second 0 in the date.  Reverse Stage A:  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the upper first A in AMERICA.  Reverse Stage B:  Die gouge right of A in AMERICA worn away.  Die chip on the left side of the shield southwest of E in EPU.  Die gouge southwest of the lower shield.

Description:  Moderate extra thickness shows on LIBERTY.  The upper right of the Y in LIBERTY is considerably thicker than the upper left of the Y.  Notching shows on the lower left corners of the ERTY in LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A: Die dot in R in LIBERTY. Die gouge well above right side of E in LIBERTY.  Die gouge right of middle of 2.  Obverse Stage B:  Die dot in R in LIBERTY still visible.  Other markers not able to be assessed.  A small die gouge (dot) can be found between the upper G and O in GOD.  Reverse Stage A: Die dot on shield above left side of E in ONE.  Die gouge above center right side of C in CENT in the shield.  Obverse Stage B:  Stage A markers not able to be assessed.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the top peak of the shield.  A small die gouge can be found north of the right side of the N in CENT.

Description:  Light extra thickness shows on the ERTY in LIBERTY.  The upper right of the Y in LIBERTY is thicker than the upper left of the Y.  Notching shows on the lower left corners of the ERTY in LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge runs NE from the bottom of the nose.  A possible small die chip may be present on the upper T in LIBERTY.  Reverse:   A die crack runs across the top left of the shield north of the LURIB in PLURIBUS.

Comments:  This die is extremely similar to WDDO-007 in character.  If anyone finds a copy of this die, I would like to do an in-hand examination to ensure it is not a later stage of WDDO-007.
